GSDCA Service Awards (Recognition of Member’s Service)
The GSDCA Executive may in its own right and by a majority decision award Service Medallions each year to worthy recipients who have contributed greatly to the GSDCA. Member Clubs may nominate up to two members per year for the Service award.
The presentation of the Service Medallion will be made at an event conducted by the GSDCA Inc.
The criteria to be applied by the member Club is that each nominee must have shown and continue to show dedication to the advancement of the German Shepherd Dog. The member Club shall provide the Secretary with a detailed history of the nominees’ involvement at local and/or national level.
The award will not be automatic. The GSDCA Executive decision will be by a majority vote and is final. Upon rejection of the nomination by the GSDCA Executive the member Club may resubmit the nomination after one year.
