Main Breed Exhibitions – Historic Information
Main Breed Exhibitions were conducted for many years from 1987 with the First Main Breed Exhibition in Richmond NSW until the 15th Main Breed Exhibition in Adelaide, SA in 2007.
Main Breed Exhibitions, unlike National Shows, were conducted to consider not only the worth of a dog in terms of his or her show career, but to consider the worth of the breeding value and producing capabilities of those victors.
Main Breed Exhibitions are no longer held, but this page is dedicated to all the worthy recipients of the top awards over the course of the fifteen Main Breed Exhibitions spanning 20 years.
